I went to Gailey Reservoir to see the Red Necked Grebe (a rarity) a first ever for myself, in its summer plumage, met up with 3 birders from Stoke On Trent.I wish to thank the Boat Club for hitching a motor launch ride across the reservoir. Great view and a spectacular colours.This photograph was not taken by myself, Steve Nuttal took this image the night before, thought this rarity would be good for others to view
